Climbed Valley Way to Madison and then Star Lake trail to Adams yesterday. temps were cold but bluebird. Good snow coverage (wind packed) above treeline provided nice climbing conditions. VW was packed out smooth and made for a fast pace. Lowes Path to Gray Knob, Hincks and Amphibrach were all packed out. This is a great chance to get up there.
Special Equipment: Used microspikes, but they were not necessary. Poles were helpful in the high winds.
