Trail Conditions: light dusting of snow at the base. Icy sections as the trail got steep and 2 or 3 inches of snow towards the summit.
Special Equipment Required: I used Yak Trax once the trail got steep and icy. Others on the trail had crampons or Stabilicers and I even saw a few barebooting (but they didn't look like they were having fun).
Comments: Nice day for a short hike. Views were sub par as it lightly snowed most of the day and the clouds kept the summit mostly socked in but the walk was nice. Climbing the steep sections was entertaining as there was a lot of ice. Crampons through there might have been the best option but I made it through okay on Yak Trax.
