Date of Hike: 13 Aug 08
Trail Conditions: Treadway conditions ranged from fairly dry to boot-sucking mud. We noticed that overall the trail was a lot drier on our way down, some hours after our ascent. Few blowdowns were easily negotiated.
Special Equipment Required: Poles useful for balancing on slippery sections or when jumping mud holes. Low gaiters were nice for when we sunk into the mud over our boot tops.
Comments: A nice half-day hike. Great VftT as long as you're standing up. The trees at the summit are about waist-high so you can't see much when you sit down on the rocks. No biting bugs today!
