Date of Hike: 5/17
Trail Conditions: Trail was dry almost to hut. Significant (though easily passable) snow pack just as you approach the hut. Also a bit sketchy between hut and the point where you become exposed. Warming weather will produce further postholing. (again....all easily passable)
Special Equipment Required: Nothing required. (finally!!)
Great to be free from snowshoes and stabilicers! Magnificent views and what a day to be atop Laffy!!
