Date of Hike: 11/4/12
Trail: Appalachian Trail
Trail Conditions: Snow flurries all day. Wet leaves on lower mountain. 1 - 2 inches of snow on the upper mountain. One down tree on the lower mountain at about 0.3 miles. No erosion from hurricane Sandy.
Special Equipment Required: I used microspikes on the upper mountain for about a mile going up and down. Everyone else had bare boots.
Comments: Talked to 2 hikers that went up on the Eyebrow Trail. They said it wasn't too slippery. Summit tower was encrusted with rime. No view that day, so no reason to go up the tower.
