Trail Conditions: Very wet for the first mile or so (slippery rocks... what fun). Perhaps my mind was playing tricks on me, but the trail did seem considerably drier on my descent... though I doubt it could have dried out all that much within the span of an hour or two!
Special Equipment Required: Gaiters = fantastic.
Comments: A surprisingly fast hike, especially considering the fact that I had to exercise some caution whilst hopping over all of the wet rocks! While the views did not stretch very far, there were some interesting clouds that kept drifting between the peaks which made for very unique and awesome pictures on the summit (I hope). Upon returning to my car, I was excited to see a VFTT bumper sticker on a green explorer at the trailhead...
