We had planned to hike the Bonds on 2/27, but after the recent dump of fresh snow, we canned that plan and decided to just do the Osceolas today, two 4k's that Kathy needs for her list. A few shots:

Trail is well broken out now. Snowshoes still recommended though. There are numerous blowdowns and bend downs, none too difficult, but collectively they took a toll on us. Particularly me. Slaps in the face, pokes in the eye... I felt like one of the Three Stooges. I lost more blood today than the rest of the group put together!

Thanks to Kathy B, Tim G, Kevin P and Wes for a great day.

Thanks guys! It was a great day. We did not know what to expect. We were very grateful to see that others had gone before us since the storm, and had made it all the way to Osceola. We found just a few inches of new snow in a well established footway.
