Trail Conditions: Nicely packed by snowshoes on all the flats. The steep sections are a little scary! The chimney bypass was dicey (as usual) - butt sliding sent me way into the trees on the descent.
Special Equipment: I skied up the ski trails to the junction above Greeley Pond - nicely broken out BTW!!! And a nice, sweet descent (on the ski trail) with bypasses near the open spots.
On the hiking trails, some were using crampons on the steeps (probably a good choice), but I snowshoed it up (barely!!!). That is one grueling ascent!!!The ridge is all broken out.
Comments: Couldn't find evidence of anyone coming up from the WV side. Nice calm day on the main peak - great views and a little sun.
