We spotted a car at Thornton Gap, hiked the Greeley Ponds Trail to the Mt. Osceola Trail, then up and across East Peak and Osceola and down to Tripoli Road. The Greeley Ponds Trail and Mt. Osceola Trail to East Peak/Mt. Osceola were in great shape with minimal mud and only traces of snow and ice. From Mt. Osceola down to the bottom of the severely eroded trail section there were some long stretches of mostly avoidable ice that slowed us down a bit, not bad. No crossing issues and only one minor blowdown.

We bare-booted throughout. Poles very helpful.

Pretty day with a late fall feel and some nice long views.
