Trail was in good shape even after a a brief shower, The rocky discription of this trail was certainly correct.The trail accends niceley thanks to a series of switchbacks.The views were good for a while and it was nice to show my son
some of the mountains he's climbed from a different perspective. The trip over to the east peak was steep going down especially at the cliff face type area .The area just past that was quite wet and there were a couple of muddles there wich should dry up soon. East peak was a peak bag at best as you have only a modest cairn with a forrest view.going back up the ciff face however,
was a lot more fun as it had began to rain breifly. good stuff.cool ya right down.Also no real stream crossings
special equiptment: not too bad, just some poles to help out,some bug spray,though it was not nearly as bad as jefferson last week.WATER proof spray
on your boots cuz its muddy in places,and wet rocks in others.
comments:there were alot of wet rocks but they were mostly not slippery
