Stream crossings all doable at their usual locations without getting wet although a pole helps considerably, but I saw people going upstream or taking their boots off. I saw a small cairn at unofficial TH but went beyond about 15 minutes to be sure, since the last time I had been there in summer there had been a large cairn, and in winter I bushwack before the slide. Almost everyone I passed on my way out asked if a cairn or other sign was there and what it looked like. Fairly large cairns on both peaks, the second one is about 6 minutes beyond the first (depending on the herd path chosen) and had a wooden sign saying Owls Head.
