Trail Conditions: Trails were in good condition; Lincoln Brook Tr muddy in sections and is easily avoided. Poles helpful on the 3 minor brook crossings which are running quite low. We followed almost a due magnetic north on the Black Pond bushwack staying around 1,800 in elevation before dropping down and came out about 50' up from the 2nd major crossing. The slide up Owls Head took some time but no problems. On the final push to the summit we encounted lots of blowdowns but are relatively easy to get over.
Special Equipment Required: Poles for the crossings
