Date of Hike: Thur. May 20, 2010
Trails: Lincoln Woods, Black Pond Bushwhack, Lincoln Brook, Owlshead Slide, Owlshead Path, Brutus Bushwhack.
All trails are snow free. Only mud was on the Lincoln Brook Trail, but not bad. All trails were mostly dry. There were quite a few blowdowns, but nothing too difficult to get around, over, or under. The stream crossings were running very low and easy to cross.
We climbed the slide and came down the Brutus for a change in scenery. We were hiking with Ed Hawkins today in a great group of ten. Nice sunny warm, summer like day. Bugs starting to get hungry.
