Me and Dawn(hikethe115) headed up dicey's mill about 10:30, fairly warm out. just booted it with insteps(she wore full) all the way to the top. there is a trail junction that is not marked, I think it was a left to the old camp rich maybe. Anyone coming up and over would not want to go the wrong way. usually all turns are marked. GORGEOUS views from the outlook near the top. Hung out there a half hour in the sun, really warm..no wind at ALL. headed back down and out around 4:30. nice day...only 3 winter peaks left for me. Heard this rumor that they are not replacing worn out trail signs anymore? sounds crazy but who knows these days. Headed back to north conway and met Poison Ivy, who is VERY excited about climbing winter peaks. I love all this enthusiasm. Ivy, I hope you climbed Mt. Tom successfully today

Howdy. You might remember the little guy to the left and his larger companion -- I was the human member of the three-member team that trailed you out of the parking lot. (I went back for the Gatorade and OJ I left in my vehicle; wish I'd brought even more.)

It was outrageously warm. My Zip-O-Gauge read 60 at one point on the trail, and shading it didn't seem to matter much.
