Passaconaway from Kanc 3/29/08

Trail conditions: Oliverian Brook/Passaconaway Cutoff/Square Ledge/Walden trails had deep unbroken snow. There was some difficulty locating the route on Square Ledge Trail. On the Walden Trail, it seems like the snow is too high and the spruce is too low! Lots of time spent crawling and getting eyes poked by sharp sticks- another fun day in the woods!

Special equipment: Snowshoes to the junction of Square Ledge/Walden Trails, crampons after that.
