Date of Hike: Saturday, August 1st
Trails: Downes Brook Trail, Downes Brook Slide, Walden Trail, Dicey's Mill Trail, Rollins Trail, Kate Sleeper Trail, Mount Tripyramid Trail, Livermore Trail, Mount Tripyramid Trail, Sabbaday Brook Trail
Trail Conditions: Did the first four big water crossings over the first two miles of the Downes Brook Trail. They were all very easily rock hopped. There are a couple of medium sized blowdowns along this stretch, mostly all can be stepped over. Kate Sleeper Trail is a little over grown just east of West Sleeper for a few hundred feet, other than that it's in good shape. All other trails in great shape. North Slide has a few blue blazes that hug the left side of the slide when it breaks open but you can make your own way up if you'd like, just be careful not to dislodge any rocks!
Comments: Made a big loop hitting three slides in the Sandwich Range. Great views from the slides, I lucked out and had South and North Tri slides to myself on a Saturday! Hiking the Sleeper Ridge is always fun, not many hikers on it and very quiet out there. Report / Pictures
