Date Hiked: 21-Feb-2008
Conditions: Extremely well packed trail, almost to the point of being icy in certain areas of the trail. There are no blowdowns, and no brook crossing issues.
Special Equipment: Some type of foot traction device is required due to the slippery conditions on many segments of the trail. Personally wore Kahtoolas for the entire hike.
Comments: Half of our party of two went shopping in North Conway, while the other half did a quick hike to Peaked Mountain!
This is a short, pleasant hike. The ledges you traverse on the way to the Peaked Mountain summit provide good views of the Presidentials (see 2 photos at link below).
