After the Jay hike, we spent the evening at the JackRabbit. I learned that Topo owns the same Altimeter and head lamp that I have, what a great guy! 
Sunday, we got up late and went to b'fast at the Noonmark. Mmmmmm!
I won't spill the 'Peggy O' beans in this TR, but suffice it to say we had a great time at Peggy O! We walked in after b'fast, hiked Yard Monday, and hiked out Tuesday. In between hiking, we drank a lot of beer, ate a lot of food, and hung out with good people!
Yard was covered with about 6-10" of new, wet snow. We took a leisurely hike, and mostly followed the trail, which we could feel under our feet. When we could not feel it, we were falling into spruce traps! Also, there were several blow downs which temporarily threw us off the course, but we made it to the top. The summit views were limited by the clouds. On the way down, we could see glimpses of the Great Range. That night, the stars came out by the millions, and in the morning, we could see everything, everywhere. But of course, it was time to go home! Bad timing, but a great gathering, with great people!
