Trail Conditions: All trails along the 33 mile loop around the Pemi were mostly dry and blow-down free. Only serious blowdown encountered was 3/4 of the way down Osseo.....easily bypassed. Water crossings posed no problems.
Special Equipment Required: Lots of fluids and good company.
Comments: Optional - Pemi Loop done counterclockwise. Left Lincoln Woods with Steve R @ 4:30AM; on the summit of Bondcliff @ 8:30AM; hit Galehead Hut and picked up Schorman Sr. there @ 12:15PM; on Lafayette summit @ 5:15PM; back to the car @ 10:30PM. A tiring but excellent day......couldn't have asked for better weather, trail conditions, or companions!
These death marches are like child birth......it hurts like Hell while you're going through it, but you soon forget the pain and you come back for more
