Hiked Phelps on 9/22. A great day. Sunny and in the 60's. Trail was muddy in spots but, dry for most of the trail. No bugs! Great views of Colden, Marcy, Algonquin, Haystack. On hike out, we ran into the rescue effort of the hiker at Marcy Dam. Vey unfortunate.
