Date of Hike: Sunday 12-30-07

Trail Conditions: Crawford path was perfectly packed. Snowshoes were the footwear of choice by most hikers today. Summit cone of Eisenhower was windblown and icy and crampons were necessary here.

Special Equipment: Showshoes, crampons, face protection...full winter gear

Comments: Met up with Silverfox while heading up Pierce. Had a nice hike with him and we met Craig who was bagging his 15th summit today. The col between Pierce and Eisenhower was drifted and deep in spots...snowshoes worked best here. Thank a million to the nice people that found my lost camera along the trail between the summits...I was able to retrieve it right where you left it by the sign post. Thanks again!
