Date of Hike: 1/9/10
Trail Conditions: Packed powder, drifted in spots but that's taken care of by heavy traffic. Mix of snowshoes and bareboots have the trail well packed. Minimal postholes and those are only at small crossings. On pack-scraper blowdown and one walk-around. Windblown at the top.
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes - useful but many were barebooting without too much issue. Full coverage once clear of the trees due to cold and wind.
Comments: A few inches of fresh snow the night before made for a beautiful scene on the way up. Views were limited once up top.
