The trail was well consolidated. The streams were all covered with snow. There was one blowdown between the footbridge and the falls but it was a simple duck under. Above the Mizpah cutoff there were two blowdowns. One was a duck under and the other a crawl under.
The snow was well consolidated and barebootable. Everything seemed to work today. Some used snowshoes, some Stableicers, some crampons, some bare booted.
After missing out on a hike last week due to the storm and another coming in tomorrow, I took the day off so we could both get in a little exercise. It was a beautiful day and a fairly easy hike. Conditions couldn't have been better.
