Date of Hike: 30-DEC-08
Trail Conditions: Well packed to treeline with a few mud patches and very minor blowdowns.
Special Equipment Required: Crampons were useful for the upper sections, especially on the slabs below the summit. Barebooted w/o trouble or trail damage on the lower half.
Comments: WATCH FOR WEAK TREES! One in particular is about to go approx. half-way up the Mitzpah Cutoff. Pics on flickr: http://tinyurl.com/76x6ev
