Places to stay in Guilford or Greenville

We'll be going to Greenville for a backcountry ski trek.

I would love to hear any tips for inexpensive (clean) motel anywhere in the vicinity of Guilford or Greenville.

seemed somewhat reasonable. Plus Monson being right on the AT has some other hiker type places to stay....just cannot recall names at the moment..Shaw's? I think??

Indian Hill Motel on the main route into Greenville is reasonably priced, a convenient location, located across from Indian Hill Trading Post etc., and, if the snow isn't drifted above the windows, has a great view of Moosehead Lake.
