Platte Cove Road Closed

Tried to go to Huckleberry Point this afternoon but ended up at the wrong end of a road barrier. Apparently, the town of Hunter has closed Platte Cove Road for repairs.

There was no indication as to when it would reopen.

Just thought I would pass along the information so that others won't make the same mistake I did.

Thanks Jeff, I guess we are a bit amiss as nobody thought of posting this info here, as we've had a thread on this on another forum for a bit.. Sorry!

I was originally hoping they were perhaps paving the road but looks like they're working on the guardrails and the dirt slopes there..
