I agree. But rather than tacking on a little bit of revenue here and there, I think we need a complete change in way F&G is funded. This probably means that F&G needs to be part of the general budget, rather than "self supporting". Obviously, this requires action by the legislature, which doesn't seem likely until the F&G crisis gets even worse and more people feel the effect of reduced services. Until then, I fear we'll have a stream of ill-conceived stopgap measures. Live free or Die.
