Date of Hike: Sunday, July 21st
Trails: Crawford Path, Webster Cliff, Eisenhower Loop, Monroe Loop, Gulfside, Clay Loop, Jefferson Loop, Lowe's Path, Airline, Osgood
Trail Conditions: The only thing of note for those familiar with the trails is the Crawford Path to treeline below Pierce has some standing water and some minor water running on the trail, making some slick sections. Some minor mud in the col between Pierce and Eisenhower. Other than that all trails above treeline are in perfect shape! For hikers not familiar with the trails the Crawford Path, Eisenhower Loop, and Monroe Loop have decent footing over dirt, gravel, and very well place boulders, especially the section between Lakes of the Clouds and Mount Washington and the trail never gets that steep. You can fill up with water at Lakes of the Clouds and the Mount Washington's summit. The northern Presidential Range over the Gulfside Trail, Jefferson Loop, etc., is a mixture of odd shaped rocks and boulders, some of the boulders will move a little when stepped on and the terrain is very unforgiving on your knees and feet. You can fill up with water at Madison Springs Hut.
Comments: Great day to roam around the Presi Range! Report / Pics
