3/7/08 - A yo yo hike from the Lake G rec ctr to summit and back.
Just enough little sun and mostly cloudy skies
Enough accumulated snow warranting snow shoe hiking.
On this date, preceding hikers planned poorly by obvious signs of either booting or use of stabilizers. Deep foot depressions, many two to three feet deep along what was a well broken trail used by earlier snow shoers. (Moderator's note: poster's comments removed here - If you want to discuss postholing, join VFTT, pls don't use the Trail Conditions to editorialize).
