Skied into Puffer Pond 2-16 from Old Farm Clearing Trailhead parking near Garnet Hill down Siamese Peaks Wilderness road to Puffer Pond/KingsFlow trail. Trail in very good condition: about 7" dense well packed powder on the trail and 14" or more off trail. All rocks well covered and all stream crossings easy. Three new bridges make bigger crossings a lot less sporting! Trail should hold up well unless rain today or tomorrow is heavy.
Had the place to myself most of the day as I only arrived after 2PM and saw my last person in the woods at 3:15 near the Hour Pond junction. The fast downhill ski out in sunset light was perfect and my truck was the only one left parking for nice mountain solutide concluding a wonderful afternoon ski.
