I met a couple friends in Woodstock Sunday Morning to do our annual hike up Cannon Mtn. We try and hike it each year before the Mountain opens up for skiing and the crowds come.
I was coming from Freeport, Maine so it was a later start, but we had plenty of time.
Started out on the Kinsman Ridge Trail from Cannon Parking lot. It wasn't long before we were in Winter Wonderland.
The snow cover was beautifull and looking over at Lafayette Ridge was sweet! We were at the summit quickly, while still stopping to play in the snow and admire the views along the way. My first snow hike of the season!!
I was all smiles!
The footing was slippery, no one had been up the trail in the new snow. Traction would of helped but we just booted it up with only a couple minor slips and slides.
Great day with good friends hiking in Snow!!!
