Trail Conditions: Lake Road is good close to the gate but as you get close to the Lake, the shoulders are soft, there are a few holes caused by water. The Ausable Club will need to have some work done before they drive the bus up to the lake. The last 100 yards or so to Rainbow Falls has a monorail or ice and snow, not enough for traction but caution and careful walking are in order.
Special Equipment Required: None other than below.....
Comments: Optional -Forecast called fro 50% chance of showers, we may have had 30 minutes of rain with a little sleet mixed in as we were leaving Rainbow Falls. Cold for "May" so rain gear, a hat and gloves were useful.
