Hi--Looking for a hike(s) that i can bareboot 5/8-9 without too many snow/ice issues. (will carry traction devices, but no snowshoes)

Anyone have insight on current conditions for :

1) Randolph/Crescent via Sargent and Crescent Ridge Trails
2) Parker via Mt Langdon Trail
3) Wildcat "E" via Polecat ski trail, then WR Trail (not sure if there's a short steep rock stretch near the summit)
4) Meader via Meader Trail (yes, i know 113 is closed from north, but think? i can reach trailhead from the south?)--or Eastman via Slippery Brook Trail

many thanks
jim

Jim:

Polecat ski trail is barebootable. Still significant snow on it up high (but packed), but if you go up the non-snowmaking trails, they're bare and dry. This is as of a week ago.

I haven't been up Meader, but you can access it from near the Baldface parking lot - that stretch of 113 is open.
