Here's a cheap imitation of a forestgnome post.
After the hail storm passed through on Saturday, I decided to head over to Thompson Falls in Pinkham Notch. A lower set of falls:
Heading back down, I saw a bull moose walk into the woods. Thus, I headed up an access road and bushwhacked around to meet him for lunch.

The next day, this grouse decided to surprise me near North Hancock, taunting me as I passed:
Finally, on my way to Conway on Monday (not the weekend, but close enough), I decided to do a quick walk up Foss Mountain. On the way back, I had to stop while this family crossed the road on their way to an afternoon at the beach.
