Trail Conditions: Some mud but mostly dry until very near the ridge. Approaching ridge and trail junction there are some very wet mud holes between bog bridge sections. Bog bridges mostly in good condition but one broken. Trail is easily followed except for stream crossing just above the shelter: the turn across the stream isn't obvious, I and several others went straight at first.

Special Equipment Required: Gaiters and poles helpful for dealing with mud. Small towel recommended for drying feet after swimming in any of he excellent swimming holes along the trail.

Comments: Great day on the trail. Saw a few thru-hikers and had a nice swim.
