RMC is reportedly required to upgrade their signage on USFS property as it wears out to comply with a standard format. I hope they dont have to go to the "evil" plastic laminate with a yellow core and brown exterior (looks like something you would find in a Mc Donalds), so their old style signs are slowly going to disapear on USFS lands. I dont think it would apply to ther trails north of RT 2, at least I hope so.

I would bet that the Short Line sign will go for the most $, and well above what I could bid. Ebay user "fbe3" has bought quite a few of the RMC and AMC signs in the past and paid $415 for last year's Castle Ravine trail sign, $418 in 2008 for the King Ravine trail sign, and $611 in 2009 for AMC's Pine Link trail sign. I'd bet that this person will be bidding for the Short Line sign.

Hope the RMC raises lots of money to help maintain the trails!

The AMC auction ended earlier today. The Apline Garden trail sign sold for $1,125!! The Star Lake trail sign sold for $910. The Caps Ridge sign was a bargain at $560. Hope the RMC gets similar results!
