Rocky Mtn Natl Park info

Hello all. I know we are all hikers and campers here but I'm wondering if anyone has stayed in the Estes Park, CO area recently with a non hiking/camping wife? Looking to bring The Mrs out there to visit the area this September. Any cabins or condos that are not over the top expensive. It's been 25 years since I've been out there and I bet it has changed a bit! Thanks for any info.

Estes Park Center, YMCA of the Rockies has a variety of accommodations including cabins at prices that aren't too bad. Stayed there once when I was a kid... http://www.ymcarockies.org/estes-park-center-colorado.html

I've also stayed at a motel on Rte 7 a short distance south of town, but I don't remember the name. I probably just pulled out the AAA guide and chose the cheapest place that looked reasonable. The place met my needs and the people were nice.

stay at a KOA "Kabin" at the Estes Park KOA. Clean cabins, clean restrooms. You do need sleeping bags for the cabin beds though.

I did not stay there, but I second the YMCA of the Rockies. A friend of mine and his family stayed there a few years ago and it was great for all interest levels.
