What a magnificent day to hike! The trails were dry and in good shape with occasional braches to be pushed off the path. We had the mountain all to ourselves and enjoyed a long, sunny stay on the summit. Very quiet! We went up from the AC parking area and came down via the old Dix trail to the AC club road. After seeing the slope of the western trail we were glad we didn't come up that way!
