Trail toward Hunter was packed by previous snowshoer's as was path up mt. Snowshoes were required for the 12 to 14 inches of snow that was dense in its first two inches.
Our group of eight followed Hoosier's track for about 0.15 tenth and then head N, then NW. Breaking trail on steeper terrain was harder; our group caught up with the track again and paralleled it, crossing less obstacles.
Weather on top was 22 degsF with two snow squalls and 15-20 mph winds.
