Russell Pond BSP bunkhouse questions

I've tented at Russell Pond on several occasions backpacking through the park but now I'm advance-planning a group trip to the bunkhouse in fall 2005. I've never been in the bunkhouse. I've checked the BSP website but can't determine a) if there are mattresses on the bunks and b) when firewood becomes available for the woodstove. These things will affect whether some people can participate. Thanks.

I haven't been inside either, but as a rule, there are no mattresses.

And like Chimney Pond, I believe firewood is only for use during the winter season: Dec 1 -

No mattresses. Not positive, but I believe the woodbox is locked and probably empty during the regular season.
