Sabbaday Brook Trail

How are the brook crossings on this trail right now? How popular is this trail to Tripyramids in winter? Would we be breaking trail?

I think Pine Bend is used more in winter...
I know that 10 days ago the Pine Bend crossings were frozen solid.

The brook crossings were fine when I was there about 3 or 4 weeks ago, although caution should always be used since there's a lot of spots with moving water. A couple years ago I had trouble with them in March.

This trail likely isn't broken out. I left the only tracks on the trail when I descended from the Trips that way in early Feb, and that was before the Valentine's day snow dump. It's a beautiful area but Mike's right... PBB is far more popular.
