Trail Conditions: little or no snow or ice on trail until upper elevations. Some ice to consider above Gleason/Bennett upper junction. Snow was not visible until about 3,500 feet and was less than an inch. Some running water on trails, but was generally avoidable. Streams were running healthy and a tad challenging, but not a problem.
Special Equipment Required: light traction helpful on descent from summit to Gleason/Bennett upper junction, but not absolutely necessary.
Comments: we had very nice 9 plus mile loop today. Well actually, our route looked more like a figure 8 than a loop. Temps were moderate. No wind at any time, including on the summit. Summit views were hazy, but we still had expansive views, including the Presi's. Saw nobody else on the trails today. Great hiking again with Bobby and Larry D
