Date of Hike:10-25-08
Trail Conditions: All trails were in great shape. Easy water crossings. No muddy or slick areas. Just a few scattered patches of snow near the summit. One big blowdown on the Jennings Peak Spur Trail....easily circumvented (but make sure your camera case is snapped shut before you slide under it or else your camera might spill out and get dinged....like mine!).
Special Equipment Required: A few extra layers for comfort and safety.
Comments: Missed the others of Team Teufelhunde - Schorman Sr, Mrs. Schorman Sr, & Steve R - on this trip. Had to make a solo sojourn to Sandwich Dome today. Lots of moose scrapings on the trees on east side of trail just beyond spur trail to Jennings Peak. Saw just one other hiker on the trails between 9AM & 1PM.
