Sandwich Dome via Sandwich Mt. Tr. - 4/5/09
Trail Conditions: Hard packed mono-rail in the am, which turned soft as the day progressed; icy on the steep pitches up towards Noon peak.
Special Equipment Required: we all started with traction, and one-by-one, all switched to snowshoes to avoid postholing
Comments: Avoid the river crossing by walking along the road, crossing the river along the highway, and taking a short bushwhack back to the trail
