Conditions: Drakes Brook pretty high but crossing manageable with rock steps
Trail is mostly dry, a few blowdowns near the steep sections. Snow staring in patches about 3k with pretty continuous soft snow the last half mile or snow. It was soft though, and the terrain there is not steep. No equipment needed; we all wore trail shoes.
Great views from the small summit and a lovely trail, very green, lots of mellow ridge sections with views and a few steep pitches.
Bug spray suggested; they get vicious down low in the afternoon.
