Saturday, June 14 – Trail work with the BRATTS on Mt. Belknap

The Belknap Range Trail Tenders (BRATTS) will be heading back to the Red Trail on Belknap Mt. to continue with the reconstruction started on May 24th. The project will consist of building more rock cribbing to overcome a short ledge area and cribbing to stop the treadway from creeping downhill (trail creep) in another area close by. The work will be quarrying rock for the cribs, steps and quarrying gravel for back filling. We will meet at 8:30 at the UPPER parking area of the carriage road. Bring gloves, lunch, etc., and decent boots. As always tools supplied. For more information, contact Hal Graham at [email protected].
