Started on the AuSable Club property. Met a couple of deer munching on leaves and lots of chipmunks. Headed up the Gothics trail and checked out Rainbow Falls this was amazing!! This is a must see if you are in the area. We headed for the junction of Sawteeth and Gothics This was a little muddy and slick in spots. As we headed from the junction we started seeing snow. When we reached the summit took some great pictures of snow on Haystack, Marcy, Gothics, Algonquin etc... We had a quick bite to eat and layered up with winter gear it started spitting snow. We decided to go down the scenic trail knowing that we had enough time and daylight. The trail is .8 longer then the Gothic trail. This trail is alot steeper. Lots of great views and the fall colors are amazing.
