Loop up Scenic Trail, down Weld. Scenic Trail wet and slippery along Ausable Lake, ascent a little eroded but fairly easy to follow. As of 9/18 the trail is still uncleared, so there's still plenty of felled trees making progress difficult and requiring creativity; most of the tangled deadfall starts a little before 1st false summit, then, all the way across Sawteeth Traverse, over summit, and down to Sawteeth/Gothics Col. Weld Trail back to Lower Ausable in great shape, only 3 or 4 difficult blowdowns requiring creative manuevering.
