Used the Weld trail to get to Sawteeth and it was in very good condition. From there we went back to the intersection and up to Pyramid. Very rugged climb but the trail again was in good shape. My first time on Pyramid and it was better than fantastic. What a view. Over to Gothics wasn't to bad except getting up the ledge. Gothics to Armstrong was a little muddy but nothing that can't be handled. Went back to the Ausable road via Beaver Meadows trail which is in good shape also. Came across an area that was damaged by Irene but the trail crew did a very nice job of cutting blow down and remarking the trail. The bottom of Beaver Meadows falls also had some damage also but still a very nice area to visit. The bridge that was used to get photos at the bottom of the falls is gone. Hike took us 10 hours car to car.
