Ice on the road from the Au Sable club to the dam. Used microcrampons. Used crampons the rest of the way up to the intersection to Gothics cutoff and above to Sawteeth. Some hikers were using the short snowshoes and using them as slides on the way down. Clear blue skies for a beautiful view all the way down to Marcy. Trail well packed.
